I saw this quote "We’re selling life jackets to the Titanic, why wouldn’t you buy one?” and it just rubbed me wrong. Most of the people with life jackets in the water died!

What you needed was a raft. (Or a flying car for ML  >:D)

Not sure a raft would have been of much use in the Atlantic ocean either.  People do continue to buy those useless "life jackets,"  thinking they can be saved from this Titanic wreck.
