I've been "frustrated" with these "low" prices. I use only cash, and even here in WY the # of places allowing you to pump first with cash has dropped. So for the last two weeks in Gillette where I have to go into the Flying J and prepay, I try to give just enough to fill it just shy of clicking off so I don't have to go back in. Darn! Both times I still waaaay overestimated the $$ consumed and had to go back and get my change.

Life is tough here in Wyoming . . .  ;D

Was $2.759 I think.

Ps. I've posted this link before and I'll do it again:

Quite useful. You can see at a glance that Casper and Gillette are low prices. Just keep double clicking and drilling down to locate exact stations and exact prices.

$2.67 to $2.69 here in Albuquerque last week. This week a lot more! The best I could find was in the $2.70s and some of the cheaper stations last week are in the $2.80s or $2.90s this week.  :-[

Most places in Colorado Springs are right around $2.65-$2.69 but there is one that is over $3 for some reason...

Oh we miss the cheaper gas prices in Wyoming.....
We came back to MN last week with $3.25/gal to greet us.....and still is hovering around that price.  Right now in the Twin Cities gas ranges $3.19-3.35/gal

Here's an interesting map to look at for gas prices across the nation.
http://www.twincitiesgasprices.com/Prices_Nationally.aspx

this link is by county:
http://www.twincitiesgasprices.com/Price_By_County.aspx

Since most gasoline is at octane rating of 87 (mid-grade gas is 89, and premium is 91-93). Wouldn't the price per gallon comparison have to be from the exact same octane?  I certainly remember filling up gas in Wyoming for $2.67/gal for the 85 octane.  Actually, come to think of it, we filled up with the mid-grade level a couple times in Wyoming, since it was cheaper than the lowest octane!

$3.41 yesterday in Newcastle at the Sinclair.  Goes up and down almost daily, sometimes in large leaps. I can only imagine what a nightmare it must be to run a gas station these days.
