One of my favorite Boston T. Party quotes (the source is a little obscure, can anyone name it?) is something about libertarian solutions to common political dilemmas. (Of course it is!)

The quote is something like, "Religious icons on public land? There wouldn't be any public land."

I like that.

.....how about instead of returning America to the gold standard, return it to the land standard.

You Know You Are In Wyoming When...

...You have a flag in front of your house and wake up to a wind-bent flagpole, like I did today!

You're at UW when an inch of ice is considered a "sidewalk." >:D  Seriously, I wanna know how much they put out in settlements from broken heads, rather than spending the money from the stadium on overtime to get the sidewalks clear on time.  City roads a similar, but driving on ice tends to be a bit safer(safety cage) than walking.

Kunkmeister you are right on.  We were there for the high school football playoffs (our team won).  Had we known, we would have taken a snow shovel with us.  The roads were awful, the stadium was awful, and the  field was awful.  We sat in about 4" of snow with our feet in about 6"of snow for 2-1/2 hrs.  Great game though. The ramps to the vending area were covered in 2" sheet of ice.  I did not see any snow removal on the campus while we were there.

...Driving a 200 mile round-trip to go to "the stores" is considered normal.

...the word "town" can lawfully be and sometimes is ONLY defined by the post office AND bar.  ;D

...a "bad winter" is defined as 70% or less of usual snowfall AND temperatures 20 degrees above normal.

You miss driving on icy, snow packed roads...they at least smoothed out the washboard gravel.   :-\
